Start with the question. Follow the evidence. Put the answer to work.
No two assignments start at the same point. One team may need customer evidence before a product investment. Another may need to choose a partner, prepare for diligence, or add leadership to carry out a plan.
From question to action.
1. Define the decision
We discuss the goal, the choices available, the time frame, and what is making the decision difficult. We identify the people who need to act on the answer and agree on a scope of work.
You should know: what question we will answer, what is in scope, who participates, and what the engagement will produce.
2. Test the assumptions
We examine the evidence relevant to the decision. This can include customer and stakeholder input, market alternatives, product data, technical constraints, partner fit, and financial logic. We distinguish what is known from what still needs a test.
You should know: which assumptions are supported, which are uncertain, and which could change the decision.
3. Set the course of action
We present the recommendation, alternatives, trade-offs, and conditions for moving forward. The work product is built for use by the people making and carrying out the decision.
You should know: the priorities, owners, milestones, and next review point.
4. Support execution where useful
Some assignments end with a decision and plan. Others need support with product leadership, partner discussions, pilot delivery, or a wider commercialization program. We agree on the next scope separately.
Ways to engage
Focused advisory: Work through a specific product, market, partnership, or commercial decision.
Strategic project: Complete a defined body of research, analysis, planning, and recommendations.
Fractional mandate: Add senior leadership with agreed responsibilities and a regular cadence.
Execution support: Help the team put an approved plan into practice.
